Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Lead / Supervisor to join our leadership team. This is a salaried, benefits-eligible position designed for a licensed clinician who is passionate about mentoring and supervising provisionally licensed therapists. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader, team player, and enjoys supporting clinicians in their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to LCMHC-As or LCSWAs, in compliance with state licensure requirements.
  • Support supervisees with case consultation, professional development, and clinical skill-building.
  • Partner with the Clinical Director to ensure clinical excellence across the practice.
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to maintain a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Model ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Participate in occasional staff meetings, trainings, and collaborative leadership discussions.

Qualifications
  • Must hold an active North Carolina license with supervisory designation (LCMHC-S or LCSW-S required).
  • Experience supervising provisionally licensed clinicians strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for mentoring, collaboration, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Ability to balance clinical oversight with supportive, approachable leadership.

In 2022 we were able to take our first BTC staff team-building retreat to Isla Mujeres, Mexico. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was bringing all the mental-health-related donations we had collected to the Little Yellow Schoolhouse -- the only school on the island to provide education and support for children with disabilities. We had a wonderful time and made memories for the books!
