Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM, FULL-TIME

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Receptionist & Support Staff member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a true team player with excellent organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and a calm, professional presence when handling client and staff needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage voicemail/email messages promptly.
  • Schedule, confirm, and update client appointments using our electronic health record system.
  • Support clinicians with administrative needs, such as forms, documentation, and coordination of care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and practice policies.
  • Process payments, reconcile transactions, and assist with billing inquiries.
  • Oversee office flow: manage waiting areas, supplies, and daily operations.
  • Provide general support to leadership and clinical staff as needed.


Qualifications
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience required (healthcare or mental health preferred).
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication—both written and verbal.
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new software.
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a busy, fast-paced environment.

In 2022 we were able to take our first BTC staff team-building retreat to Isla Mujeres, Mexico. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was bringing all the mental-health-related donations we had collected to the Little Yellow Schoolhouse -- the only school on the island to provide education and support for children with disabilities. We had a wonderful time and made memories for the books!
