Licensed Psychologist

• We are accepting applications for a part-time and/or full-time Licensed Psychologist (LP)
• Banyan Tree Counseling & Wellness is a local established group private practice based in Winston Salem, NC. Since 2015 we have been known as a premiere private practice in our community with offices in Winston-Salem and Wilmington, NC.
• Requirements include being permanently licensed in the State of North Carolina as an LP, with experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adults.
• Experience with Autism and ADHD assessment and diagnosis is preferred.
• Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive-minded group of clinicians.

• Will pay for training for specific testing/evaluations if needed

Requirements:

• Current State of NC license as a PhD or PsyD
• Must be permanently licensed (LP), we cannot accommodate provisionally licensed candidates (LPA)
• Ability to write comprehensive, clear, and well-organized reports on test results, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
• Track record of providing ethical, evidence-based services
• Commitment to providing quality counseling to people of all races, cultures, ethnicities, spiritualities, religions, or lack thereof
• Commitment to inclusion/intersectionality, LGBTQIA affirming, WPATH informed
• The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional and have experience conducting a variety of comprehensive psychological evaluations, including Autism and ADHD.

​The heart of Banyan Tree Counseling its fantastic staff. And we don't just enjoy working together-- we have developed lifelong friendships! We are not your average counseling practice. We work hard, but make self-care and FUN a priority, too! An integral part of BTC mission and values is to give back to our community, locally as well as globally. In 2022 we were able to take our first BTC staff team-building retreat to Isla Mujeres, Mexico. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was bringing all the mental-health-related donations we had collected to the Little Yellow Schoolhouse -- the only school on the island to provide education and support for children with disabilities. We had a wonderful time and made memories for the books!
