Miriam has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 2009 and has a rich background in internal and integrative medicine. After seeing the impact that mental health has on overall health, she decided to specialize in psychiatry. As an experienced clinician, she understands that medication management is just one piece of the larger picture of health and happiness. Using a patient-centered approach, she collaborates with other members of the care team to develop and guide each patient through an individualized treatment plan. Miriam sees patients of all ages, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults.

Miriam is a certified Physician Assistant with a Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest University and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry from the NCCPA. She earned her Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, graduating with distinction from the University of Virginia. Since 2009, Miriam has worked across several specialties, including internal medicine, integrative medicine, and psychiatry.

Miriam is a proud military spouse and devoted mother to her two young daughters. She is active in her church and community and has been recognized with the Winston-Salem Under 40 Leadership Award. In her free time, Miriam enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. She finds joy in self-care practices, organizing and planning, and savoring life’s small joys. As a proud Wake Forest alum, she’s a devoted ACC football fan who loves rooting for the Deacs.
