Qualifications

Rashaad holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A19952), Rashaad is certified in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Training and Safe Zone Training. This educational background and certifications equip Rashaad with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective and empathetic counseling services.

Rashaad's professional journey includes roles in diverse community and educational settings ,where he has implemented systems to support homeless individuals. Additionally, he has served as a student success coach, promoting academic and personal growth among adolescents and children using social-emotional concepts. These experiences have honed Rashaad's ability to offer comprehensive and empathetic support to clients from various backgrounds.

He also cherishes spending quality time with his wife and newborn son, whether they are enjoying outdoor activities, indulging in their usual Dippin’ Dots, or having a cozy family night at home. Rashaad's interests help him connect with his clients and highlight his commitment to a balanced and fulfilling life.
