Shelly Smith serves as a Billing Administrator for both Banyan Tree Counseling and Banyan Integrated Health. Shelly brings over 20 years of healthcare and administrative experience to her role. She is very supportive in her role and understands how complex health insurance can be on the client side of things, and seeks to make that experience an easier one. Shelly brings her knowledge of customer experience, managing medical insurance authorizations, and medical billing and coding. Known for her organization, communication, and genuine care for people, she is committed to providing a quality experience to each client. One of the things Shelly appreciates most about working with the team at Banyan is the kind and welcoming environment as well as the focus on client experience which is near and dear to her.

Outside of work, Shelly enjoys gardening, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops to expand her cultural palate along with traveling to the beaches along the East Coast.
