Tess is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who brings compassionate, evidence-based therapy to children age 4+, teens, and adults across the lifespan. With specialized training in trauma-informed approaches, art-based therapy, and somatic techniques, Tess creates a safe space for healing and growth.​

Education & Expertise
Prior to joining Banyan Tree Counseling, Tess served as a therapist at Mood Treatment Center in Winston-Salem, NC, where they managed a diverse caseload of clients and collaborated with psychiatric professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Tess earned her Master of Arts in Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health Track from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.​​
