Licensed Psychotherapist (LCMHC, LCSW, MFT)

  • We are accepting applications for a part-time and/or full-time licensed therapist

  • Area(s) of Specialization required. We are specifically seeking a therapist specialized in Somatic Processing, Polyvagal, IFS, and/or experience working with neurodivergent clients.

  • Banyan Tree Counseling & Wellness is a local established group private practice based in Winston Salem, NC. Since 2015 we have been known as a premiere private practice in our community with offices in Winston-Salem and Wilmington, NC.

  • Requirements include being licensed in the State of North Carolina, with at least 1-year post-licensure experience. Competitive pay, based on experience and licensure.

    • Job type: W-2, full-time or part-time

    • Pay range: Competitive salary, paid every other week via Direct Deposit. Incentive structure/bonus pay (earn up to $100,000 per year)

    • Location: We are hiring for both our Wilmington and Winston-Salem offices

    • Medical benefits: Available for full-time, W2 providers

    • Note writing software (easy click and save documentation)

    • Access to an abundance of psychoeducational materials, ready to use resources/worksheets

    • Current State of North Carolina license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCMHC (provisionally licensed therapists may be considered)

    • Minimum 1 year post-licensure

    • Track record of providing ethical, evidence-based services

    • Commitment to providing quality counseling to people of all races, cultures, ethnicities, spiritualities, religions, or lack thereof

    • Commitment to inclusion/intersectionality, LGBTQIA affirming, WPATH informed

    • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional and have specialty training in their niche area, for example: Eating Disorders, Men's Issues, Perinatal/Women's Mental Health, Play Therapy, Sandtray, Art Therapy, The Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Couples Counseling, Imago Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, etc.
