Metaphorically, it is not how we trip or fall that matters; rather, it is how we bounce back and recover from the fall. Indeed, extraordinary stressful and complex traumatic events may create a wounded mind, body, and spirit. However, I have discovered in years of clinical practice that many individuals are having a normal reaction or response to abnormal events that have occurred in their life. Thus, everyday stress and complex traumatic stress do not define who we are as a person. Critical life events provide us with exceptional opportunities for cultivating personal growth through self-care and wellness practices. Allow me to show you how to develop coping and resiliency skills for everyday life, and optimize your healing abilities through your mind, body, and spirit.
