Autumn is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) who specializes in perinatal/maternal mental health, women's health, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.. She believes there are seasons in life that require extra courage, and through therapy, we can cultivate that strength together. Drawing from her background in education, she creates a warm, genuine space where clients can explore their truths and reach their goals using a holistic, person-centered approach that integrates mindfulness and cognitive behavioral techniques.

Qualifications
Autumn holds a B.A. in Political Science from Mary Baldwin College and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which she completed with honors. With a background in education, including 9 years of classroom teaching experience and a North Carolina teaching license in 9-12 social studies, she brings a unique perspective to her counseling practice. She has also received specialized training from Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care.

Her background as a high school educator enriched her understanding of adolescent development and identity formation. Passionate about women's empowerment and maternal mental health, she actively volunteers as a Support Coordinator with Postpartum Support International, connecting women and families with essential resources during the perinatal and postpartum period.

Personal Life
Autumn calls Winston-Salem home with her sweet husband, daughter, and calico tabby. When she is not wearing her counselor hat, she enjoys laughing with her funny husband, chasing her busy daughter, and making memories with her friends and family. Autumn is in her happy place when she has a cup of coffee or milkshake in hand, listening to true crime podcasts or 2000s music, and can sneak in a good nap. She loves using her curious mind to learn more about the world around her, whether it is about a person's life, what the greatest hit was in 1992, or how to make a cake from scratch.
