Emu Aragon serves as an Administrative Assistant for Banyan Tree Counseling & Wellness, supporting the daily operations of the practice with a blend of clinical insight, organizational skill, and genuine care for clients and clinicians alike. In this role, Emu coordinates scheduling, manages client communication, assists with documentation and intake processes, and helps maintain smooth administrative workflows across the practice.
Alongside his administrative work, Emu is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a doctoral student in Counseling and Counselor Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His background in clinical practice and supervision informs his ability to meet clients with empathy, support clinicians’ needs, and ensure that Banyan Tree remains a responsive, grounding space for the communities it serves. |

Personal Life |
Originally from the Bay Area in California, Emu has had the pleasure of living in Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas, and now North Carolina. He has a deep love of music and has engaged in a variety of musical outlets over the years. A passionate foodie and extrovert, Emu's idea of a good time involves going out to eat with friends - pairing boisterous laughter with thought-provoking conversation. His pride and joy are his two pups, Sol (American Bulldog) and Archie (Shih Tzu), both of whom bring him stress and peace in equal measure. Sol has since passed away but lives on in Archie and Emu's memories.
