Angelina is a Texas native, adopting NC as her home and has lived in Fayetteville for the past 16 years. Following her fathers retirement from the Army, Angelina fell in love with the beauty of North Carolina but loves going home to TX when she can. She is a mother to 3 incredible sons, ages 18, 16 and 11 and one very spoiled Maltese Shih Tzu puppy. Angelina is a big Carolina Panthers fan and can be found watching football on Sundays with her 11 year old son. Angelina loves spending time in the beauty of nature and engaging in outdoor activities such as fishing on the pier and hiking in the NC mountains. But what she enjoys most in life is the company of her family and friends. As a survivor of childhood trauma herself, she is a staunch advocate for child abuse awareness and serves as a member of two speakers bureaus: the Child Advocacy Center and nationally for RAINN, the nonprofit Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network. Angelina also volunteers for the children's ministry at her local church and enjoys teaching preschool age children. Angelina has been on a journey of self care over the past 2 years focusing strongly on her own mental and physical health. She firmly believes in the life-changing power of psychotherapy and making self-care a priority.
